We told you last week that there won’t be a 4th of July parade in Everett, Washington this year but there’s still a lot happening. Here’s some “save the date” information for you.

There’s no charge to watch the fireworks from Legion Park!

Live music, food trucks, a beer garden and kids events are set for Legion Park. The fireworks will start around 10 PM.

Everett’s annual July 4th Festival will again happen at Legion Park at the north end of the city. It kicks off at 3:00PM with and runs until the end of the “Thunder on the Bay” fireworks show at about 10:30 PM. Here’s the overview from VisitEverett.

Ride the shuttle!
Heads up, there’s NO PARKING at Legion Memorial Park on the Fourth of July. Everett Transit will be providing free shuttle service to and from Legion Memorial Park.

The shuttle pickup at Everett Community College front of the Walt Price Fitness Center. It drops people off at the north end of Legion Memorial Park. When you’re ready to leave the festival, take the free shuttle back to your car at Everett Community College. Simple, eh?

The shuttle starts running at 3 p.m. and continues until the fireworks are over.

Stay tuned for a full shuttle schedule!

Please note! Face masks are encouraged on the shuttles.

Food trucks
Don’t fill up on hotdogs and potato salad before getting to the festival because you’re going to want to save room for food the trucks.

This year’s food trucks are still being booked.

Beer garden
Everett Music Initiative will host their annual beer garden with tasty local bevvies for anyone 21+. The beer garden is by the music stage so you can watch the music while you imbibe.

Fun for kids
Kids in tow? There’s fun for them, too. Imagine Children’s Museum will be at the festival with fun kid-friendly activities. Legion Memorial Park also has a great playground and ball fields. Have a lawn game the kids love? Bring it! Just don’t ruin anyone’s picnic with a stray frisbee, okay?

Tune into the soundtrack
Media partners KXA/KRKO have helped put together a great soundtrack for the fireworks show. During the fireworks tune your radio to listen on KXA FM 101.1 or AM 1520.
