Just a heads up if you see police, fire, rescue and other first responders racing around Everett Station Saturday morning. (6/4) City of Everett emergency personnel and Sound Transit are working on a joint training exercise. Here’s a bit more.
Everett Fire Department and Everett Police Department will be assisting Sound Transit with an exercise on Saturday, June 4th at the Everett Transit Center – 3200 Smith Ave., from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
There will be several marked fire and police vehicles in the area and role players in moulage (aka mock injuries).
Crews are learning about safe operations around railroad equipment and how best to access and evacuate passengers from train cars in an emergency.
