One Arrested After Employee At South Everett Restaurant Shot

The shooting was reported about 5:30 AM Saturday morning.

Snohomish County Sheriff’s Deputies have made an arrest after an employee at a Denny’s Restaurant on 128th street south of Everett was shot early Saturday morning.

Around 5:30 AM Deputies were called to the restaurant at 128th just west of I-5 to a report of a shooting.

Arriving deputies found an employee suffering from a gunshot to their legs and applied a tourniquet.

According to the Sheriff’s office there had been a disturbance involving several people at the restaurant. That led to an altercation where at least one shot was fired and an employee hit.

The employee was transported by medic unit to Providence Regional Medical Center. The extent of the injury was not known at the time of this writing.

Those involved in the altercation left the area, but deputies were able to check video and get a good description and located and arrested the suspect within an hour and a half of the shooting.

That person was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on suspicion of 1st degree assault and is expected to make a court appearance on Tuesday for a probable cause hearing.
