Investigators with Everett Police Major Crimes unit have been called to an apartment complex in the 9900 block of Holly Drive in south Everett following what Everett Police believe to be a domestic violence incident.

Everett Police Public Information Officer Kerby Duncan tells MyEverettNews.com that shortly before 7 AM Snohomish 911 received a call from someone who claimed to have a gun pointed at them from inside an apartment. That person left the apartment and spoke with arriving officers.

Everett Police tried to contact the people inside the apartment without success and ended up forcing their way inside for a welfare check.

Inside the apartment officers found two people down from apparent gunshot wounds. Medics were called but were unable to assist.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s office will determine the cause and manner of death and the identity of the victims.

Duncan says this appears to be an incident of domestic violence and no suspects are believed to be outstanding.
