Police Blotter

Murder suspect’s bail set at $5 Million.

The man suspected in a murder last Tuesday in the Valley View neighborhood in southeast Everett refused to come to his probable cause hearing today.

On Friday afternoon, the 41-year-old Everett man was arrested by the Snohomish County Violent Offender Task Force after reportedly killing one man and holding others including a four-month-old baby at gunpoint during that robbery on April 26th.

In spite of not coming to his court hearing, Judge Anthony Howard set bail at $5 million dollars for the man and found probable cause for detaining him for 1st degree murder, 1st degree assault, 1st degree robbery and possession of heroin with intent to deliver.

Another appearance for the man is set for 1 PM Tuesday.

The identity of the victim and cause and manner of death will be released by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
