Events in Everett

Our friends at the Totem Diner at 44th and Evergreen Way are going to donate all of their sales from 7am – 2pm on Wednesday May 4th to the Dan Rocha Memorial Fund.

Owner Steve Jermyn is also challenging other businesses to make a donation to the fund and that effort will be recognized inside the Totem from April 29th – May 4th. Here’s a bit more from Steve:

The Totem will be hosting a Fundraiser for Officer Rocha’s Memorial fund on Wednesday May 4th. 100% of the proceeds from the Totem that day, (Wed May 4th) will be donated to the fund. Customer donations are highly encouraged. There will be a bucket/boot/hat to collect cash donations for the fund, from Friday April 29th to Wednesday May 4th. Corporate donations are also being encouraged. We will have a “Pledge Board” on site at the Totem for Corporate sponsors who wish to donate. (From Friday April 29th to Wednesday May 4th).

Steve says he will also be contacting local business to donate and is encouraging others to do so as well. Coastal Community Bank is assisting the Totem with the donation process. If you are unable to stop by the Totem, you can still make a donation to the Dan Rocha Memorial Fund at any branch of Coastal Community Bank.

You can also still donate to the fund online at this link.

100% of the funds will honor Officer Rocha who was killed in the line of duty on March 25, 2022 in Everett, WA and support the family. The fund was created in partnership with Victim Support Services, Coastal Community Bank and the City of Everett. Click photo to make an online donation.
