Police Seek Information On Shooting In Valley View Neighborhood

Editor’s Update Saturday April 30th: Last night Everett Police arrested a suspect in this case and booked him into the Snohomish County Jail on suspicion of 1st degree assault, 1st degree robbery and other felonies. He’s expected to go before a judge on Monday.

Following a shooting Tuesday afternoon in the Valley View neighborhood of Everett, Washington Everett PD issued the following press release asking for anyone with information to contact them.

Major Crimes detectives are investigating a shooting that left one in critical condition. At 2:10 p.m. today, officers were dispatched to a report of someone shot inside of an apartment in the 7700 block of Timber Hill Drive.

Witnesses on scene told officers that there was an altercation that led to a shooting, leaving a male in critical condition. The suspect then fled the location prior to police arrival. Officers conducted a search for the suspect, but at this point, he has not been located.

Everett Fire Department medics responded to the location and transported the victim to Providence Regional Medical Center where he remains in critical condition.

Major Crimes detectives are still investigating the relationship between the victim and suspect and the events leading up to the shooting. The victim was a male in his 30s.
