Not Guilty Plea Entered In Murder Of Everett PD Officer Dan Rocha

While he gave an initial indication that he would plead guilty during a hearing on April 19th, today the man charged with killing Everett Police Officer Dan Rocha on March 25 pleaded not guilty to:

Aggravated First-Degree Murder with a firearm

Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in the second degree

Possession of a Controlled Substance with intent to Manufacture or Deliver- Firearm Allegation

The judge set a trial date for May but that will likely be pushed out if the defense goes through with requests for a mental health evaluation and competency hearing.
