SCSO Investigating Shooting And A Burglary In Neighborhood South Of Everett City Limits

Major Crimes Unit Detectives with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office are investigating after a man was shot multiple times on 12th Place W. off of Center Road south of the Everett City limits.

Reports of shots fired came in shortly before 2 AM and arriving deputies discovered a 37-year-old-man who had been shot. He was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center with life-threatening wounds.

According to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, detectives learned the victim was outside in a residential parking lot when he was shot multiple times. The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle.

SCSO says shortly after the shooting, a nearby residence was burglarized by an adult male. The burglary suspect fled from the scene on foot. Robbery and Burglary Unit (RBU) detectives responded to investigate. At this time, it is unknown if the two incidents are connected.

Everett Police assisted with containment during a search for the suspect. At this writing there have been no arrests. The investigation is ongoing.
