Formal Charges Filed Against Witnessed Killer Of Everett Police Officer Dan Rocha

On March 25th, 2022, Everett Police Officer Dan Rocha was killed in the line of duty after reportedly observing suspicious activity in the parking lot of a coffee shop in north Everett, Washington. He went to investigate the activity and was shot multiple times as reported by witnesses.
Today the Snohomish County Prosecutor’s Office filed formal charges of:
Aggravated First-Degree Murder with a firearm
Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in the second degree
Possession of a Controlled Substance with intent to Manufacture or Deliver- Firearm Allegation
According to the charging documents the on-duty killing of Officer Rocha was captured on video and witnessed by multiple people. The man named in the charging documents is a convicted felon with an extensive criminal history.

The person named in the charging documents has an arraignment set for Tuesday April 19th in Snohomish County Superior Court.
