Last week law enforcement officers were back at the home of Christian Sayre in Everett, Washington.
On March 22nd he was arrested and booked into the Snohomish County Jail.
According to the Washington County, Oregon Sheriff’s Office a grand jury met on March 11th and March 18th and returned an indictment of six felony charges.
- 3 counts of rape in the first degree
- 1 count of unlawful sexual penetration first degree
- 1 count of sodomy 1st degree

Sayre is awaiting extradition to Washington County, Oregon. He had been out of jail after posting $700,000.00 bail earlier this month following an arrest in January and charging of multiple counts of 2nd degree rape and indecent liberties for cases in Everett. Back in October of 2021 he was initially arrested for second degree rape and indecent liberties, at that time he posted bail.
Sayre is the long-time owner of the Anchor Pub and has reportedly been under investigation in Everett for at least four years. The cases under investigation in Oregon date back as far as 20 years. No word on when Sayre will be transferred to Oregon. A spokesperson for the Washington County, Oregon District Attorney’s Office says arrangements are being worked out between the two states.
Update: In October, 2025, Christian Sayre, the former owner of the Anchor Pub, was convicted of four counts of 3rd-degree child rape and two counts of 1st-degree possession of depictions of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
Sayre will face three more trials on allegations of sex offenses against over a dozen other victims.
