Everett Police Investigating Shooting In South Everett

Initial Report 7:00 PM: Everett Police are working to identify a shooter and determine the circumstances after a man was shot Sunday evening in an apartment parking lot. Police were called around 5 PM to a report of shots fired near Bruskrud Road and 100th SE. On arrival officers found a man with a gunshot wound.

An Everett police officer applied a tourniquet, and a medic unit transported the victim to an Everett hospital. Police also found a vehicle that appeared to have been hit by a bullet. The shooter and victim may have had some type of altercation prior to shots being fired.

A drone and K-9 unit were both used by Everett PD to try and locate the shooter but as of this writing no suspect had been detained. Patrol officers are continuing the investigation.
