Firefighters Find Deceased Person In Burning Motorhome South Of Downtown Everett

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

One person was found deceased in a motorhome on fire south of downtown Everett this morning. Here’s what is known so far per Everett Fire Department in a press release this morning.

One person was found deceased in a motorhome fire early this morning in North Everett.

Dispatchers received multiple 9-1-1 calls just after 1:00 a.m. of a motorhome fire with someone possibly trapped inside in the 3500 block of Rockefeller. The motorhome located in the alley was engulfed in flames when Everett Fire Department crews arrived.

The fire, which had spread to nearby trees and a utility pole, was extinguished by firefighters, preventing it from spreading to neighboring homes. One person was found deceased in the motorhome.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner will provide positive identification of the deceased, as well as the cause and manner of death.

The Everett Fire Marshal’s Office investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing. The Everett Police Department is handling the death investigation.
