On Wednesday officers responded to a theft report in the 7400 block of Evergreen Way. The victim had video surveillance where he was able to watch the theft of his catalytic converter occur and give a great description of the thief to responding officers.
When officers arrived, they were able to locate the suspect a block away who was still holding the stolen catalytic converter!
Once questioned by officers he admitted to stealing the catalytic converter and agreed to talk to our Property Crimes detectives to help solve more crimes!
Great work by the alert victim who was able to provide us an excellent description and by the officers for finding the suspect so quickly!
