This timely reminder went out from Everett Police on their social media channels today so we thought we’d pass it along here.
As the events in Ukraine continue to unfold our hearts go out to the brave Ukrainians in their struggle to maintain their freedom. We want our community to know we stand with our Ukrainian neighbors, and we will not tolerate any incidents of harassment against them or any other groups.
We also understand that many in our community may want to financially support Ukrainian causes, however, be cautious on where you send your money. We have seen reports online of fraudulent charities trying to scam charitable people out of their money. If you decide to donate money, we recommend you vet the charities you are considering with a guide like: https://www.charitynavigator.org/
