After 31 Years In Downtown Everett Judy Matheson Announces Retirement – Store Closure

Opened in 1991, J. Matheson Gifts, Kitchen and Gourmet has been a favorite place to shop for unique items for generations of folks in Everett, Washington. Sunday evening (Feb 6th) owner Judy Matheson announced on social media the store will be closing on March 19th.

Known for personal service the store offered what they called on their website “an ever-changing selection of crystal, barware, distinctive home decor & accessories, women’s apparel, bath products, children’s clothing, and educational toys. In addition, we have the latest and greatest cooking tools, the finest cutlery, cookware, gadgets, bakeware, and gourmet foods.”

Matheson advises people who have gift certificates or store credit to visit as soon as possible to ensure best selection. She will be holding sales throughout the store over the next several weeks leading up to the closure.
