Click to learn more about Sharing Wheels.

One of our favorite organizations in Everett, Washington is Sharing Wheels Community Bike Shop. They’re a non-profit that is a true community bike shop. They sell used bikes, refurbish bikes and donate them to charity, educate people on the positive impact bicycles can have on their lives and the community.

Just this past month Sharing Wheels donated 118 refurbished bikes to community non-profit partners who distributed them those in need in Everett and Snohomish County. Sharing Wheels is looking for donations to help move to a larger, more visible space and they’re also looking for board members to help guide the future of the organization. Here’s a note received today from Board President Kristin Kinnamon.

After 15 years in our current location, wouldn’t it be nice to have windows, heat, a door that opens directly into a welcoming shop? Sharing Wheels has an opportunity to move into better retail space in the Broadway Mall Building in 2022.

Before our nonprofit board commits to doubling our rent, we need to know we have your support. Despite generous donations from many of you, we have not yet met our fundraising goals for 2021.

If you were a volunteer, customer, or bike donor this past year, thank you. Now we need your financial gift to finish (or start) the year.

A donation now will make a difference to Sharing Wheels, so we can keep making a difference in our community.

Thanks in advance for helping us keep people and bikes moving.

Sincerely,Kristin Kinnamon, Board PresidentSharing Wheels volunteer since 2002

So if you can help with a donation, as a new board member or by volunteering your time and knowledge please consider ending 2021 by helping Sharing Wheels Community Bike Shop.
