Everett Fire Crews Make Quick Stop On North Everett House Fire

Everett Firefighters were able to make a quick stop on a house fire near 21st and Colby Sunday evening. Around 5:15 PM calls came into Snohomish 911 of smoke coming from a house in north Everett. Two people were inside but were able to escape as smoke turned to flame.

The first arriving Engine found smoke coming from the home and flames were seen. The crew was able to make a quick attack, knocking down the fire. Additional crews assisted in making sure the fire was contained and didn’t spread through the house.

Of the two people who were inside and able to get out, one was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center. No word at this time on the extent of their injuries. A fire inspector was called in to determine the cause of the fire. That investigation was just getting underway at the time of this report.
