Sheriff Seeking Driver Who Fatally Struck 83-Year-Old, Then Fled In South Everett

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in tracking down the driver involved in a fatal hit and run car-pedestrian crash last month. Here’s the information they have provided via press release.

shootingSheriff’s Office Collision Investigation Unit (CIU) detectives are seeking the public’s help regarding a fatal vehicle vs pedestrian hit and run collision that occurred around 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 30.

The collision occurred in the 900 block of 132nd Street SW. The victim, an 83-year-old man, was crossing the road outside of a crosswalk area when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver immediately fled the scene driving eastbound on 132nd. The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition where he later died on December 1.

Detectives believe the involved vehicle is a light-colored sedan and should have significant damage to the front bumper, grill and the hood. Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information regarding this incident is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 425-388-3845.
