Riding in the Everett Fire Department’s Technical Rescue Truck Santa arrived in downtown Everett to join folks celebrating the start of the Holiday shopping season.
The day began with a free concert at the Everett Civic Auditorium and then a Maker’s Market opened under the tents at California and Wetmore.
There were also food trucks near the market and cocoa and cookies up on Colby as the time neared for Santa to light the lights at the intersection of Hewitt and Colby and the snowflakes along the streets.
At 5 PM sharp Santa pressed a switch of his likeness and downtown Everett lit up for the Holiday season. If you’re interested the Makers Market will be operating on Sunday as well.
Santa will also be partnering with the Everett Fire Department for cruises around neighborhoods across Everett, Washington on Wednesday evenings in December. Click here for a link to the schedule.
