Registration Open For “Girls Discover STEM” Event Saturday At WSU Everett

There are only 50 spots available for an event Saturday to highlight opportunities in engineering among girls in their Sophomore, Junior and Senior years of high school. The activity is free but participants must pre-register. Here’s more from WSU Everett.

What to know before you register for this event:
  • Participants will be required to wear a face mask for the duration of the event regardless of vaccination status.
  • Registration is required. Space is limited to 50 participants.

Girls Discover STEM is a FREE event held on the Washington State University Everett campus. This event is designed to increase interest in engineering among 10th, 11th and 12th grade female students.

Experience hands-on engineering and scientific activities while encountering challenges that engage you with specific engineering and science disciplines. You will be assisted by current WSU Everett student mentors and WSU Everett faculty who will work with you through each session.

Pizza lunch will be provided to all registered participants. A vegetarian option will be available. Students may bring their own lunch if desired
