Police Blotter

Everett Police were able to free the driver of a pickup truck that crashed and caught fire early Sunday morning in front of Emory’s Bistro & Bar on 19th Ave. S.E. at Silver Lake in Everett, Washington.

The truck had apparently been going southbound shortly before 3 AM when it crashed through a guardrail and into the Emory’s Restaurant sign. The truck then caught fire.

Arriving EPD officers had to fight through smoke to free the driver and get him to a safe place to be treated by medics.

The driver was the only occupant of the truck and was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Here are a few MyEverettNews.com photos of the scene.
