17th Junior Police Academy Wraps Up In Everett
This is the 17th year for the program.
The size of the class was smaller this year with just 21 participants but the week-long Junior Police Academy put on by the Everett Police Department was still packed with activities. This was the 17th year teens in Everett Schools were invited to get a deeper look at the opportunities offered to police officers in Everett, Washington.
Demonstrations covered everything from traffic stops to investigating a crime scene, bomb detection to the marine unit and K-9 operations to a close-up look at search and rescue. Here are a few photos from this week. Click photo to enlarge.
