Police Blotter

This is the 17th year for the program.

The size of the class was smaller this year with just 21 participants but the week-long Junior Police Academy put on by the Everett Police Department was still packed with activities. This was the 17th year teens in Everett Schools were invited to get a deeper look at the opportunities offered to police officers in Everett, Washington.

Demonstrations covered everything from traffic stops to investigating a crime scene, bomb detection to the marine unit and K-9 operations to a close-up look at search and rescue. Here are a few photos from this week. Click photo to enlarge.
