This is the 37th year for National Night Out

The Annual National Night Out Against Crime event is back in Everett, Washington Tuesday night August 3rd. Like most events it didn’t happen last year due to the Pandemic. This year there are fewer neighborhoods participating than in the past but still a good cross section of Everett is represented. Below is the official list of neighborhoods taking part but you can easily put together a small gathering of neighbors for an informal gathering.

The point behind National Night Out is to meet the others in your immediate neighborhood and work together to keep an eye out for each other. It can be a bit intimidating to meet the neighbors you don’t know but it has proven to be the best way to reduce crime and improve community in cities all across America.

At the local events listed below representatives from the Everett Police, Fire, Emergency Management and Mayor’s office will be stopping by to meet neighbors and talk about ways to work with the city to prevent crime, be safe and prepared during an emergency.
