Discounts Being Applied At Walter Hall Due To Damaged Greens

Almost every green at the course is affected.

Golfers on Tuesday said the greens were “terrible”

Heard from some golfers over the weekend that the greens at Walter Hall golf course in Everett, WA were in “terrible shape” and the course was offering discounts to try and make up for the poor condition. We reached out to the City of Everett for an explanation and received the following email from Kimberley Cline, Director of Communications for the city.

The greens at Walter Hall are not satisfactory at this time. The damage affects most of the greens to varying degrees. We don’t yet know the cost of the damage, or how long it will need to repair; we’re actively working on a solution and more information will be available soon. And yes – as your golfer friend shared, we’re discounting the greens fees at Walter Hall due to the current condition of the greens. Legion Memorial Golf Course has not had the same issue.

We’ll let you when we find out what happened, what the costs will be and who will cover those costs.
