A K-9 unit from Marysville PD assisted Everett officers in arresting the suspect.

The suspect was booked into jail for multiple felonies.

Everett Police responded Sunday afternoon to a burglar alarm at a used car dealership in the 9400 block of Evergreen Way.

Arriving officers saw a male inside the dealership and contained the building and requested a K-9.

A Marysville K-9 unit responded and police officers entered the dealership and found the suspect in the front seat of a 1956 Ford truck parked on the showroom floor.

Ignoring officer’s commands to surrender, the suspect got the truck started but killed it trying to move forward. Officers had to pull the suspect out of the truck before he could get it restarted.

According to a police officer’s probable cause statement the suspect told officers he worked there. That was disputed by the owner who had responded to the alarm at the dealership.

The 48-year-old suspect was booked into the Snohomish County Jail Sunday afternoon on suspicion of multiple felonies. The suspect refused to appear at his probable cause hearing Monday afternoon at 1 PM and remains in custody as of this writing on $25,000.00 bond.
