Everett Fire

Crews with Everett Fire and South County Fire have been busy this weekend responding to multiple brush fires in various places around the city.

The latest was reported midday Sunday just south of the intersection of 527 and Everett Mall Way.

Other calls this weekend included a large tree fire at 108th and Evergreen Way Friday afternoon, brush on fire near the Snohomish River in the Riverfront neighborhood off 36th Saturday afternoon and fires in wood chip piles west of 529 between Everett and Marysville Saturday night.

Most of the fires appear to have been human-caused. So far, no reported injuries.

Here are a few photos from Sunday’s fire near the freeway.
