Investigation Underway After Trooper’s Vehicle Struck At 32nd And Rucker In Everett

Editor’s Update 1:15 PM: In a press release out this afternoon the Washington State Patrol says the Trooper was driving southbound on Rucker when a van headed westbound on 32nd street failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the Trooper’s SUV in the intersection. The Trooper was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center. The van driver, a 24-year old from Everett was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on suspicion of DUI and Reckless Driving.

The Trooper was taken to the hospital to be checked out as a precaution.

No one in the van appeared to be injured.

A Washington State Trooper was taken to be checked out at Providence Regional Medical after a crash that happened just before 6 AM this (Sat) morning.

The crash occurred at Rucker and 32nd street and the southbound lanes of Rucker were blocked for the investigation.

No details on exactly what happened are available as Everett Police assist WSP with the investigation which was just getting underway at this writing.

The driver of the other vehicle involved was detained by Troopers.
