Mini Hydros Back On Silver Lake This Saturday And Sunday

Last month the Everett City Council gave approval to the Seattle Outboard Association for a two-day event at Thornton A. Sullivan Park at Silver Lake in south Everett. Other than due to the Pandemic last year, boats have been running on the lake once a year for more than six decades.

The event takes place this Saturday June 5th and Sunday June 6th from 10 AM – 6 PM each day. There is no charge to come watch the races. Both junior racers (age 9 – 17) and adults 18+ will be competing.

Important information:

– While limited access during the event, TAS Park will be open for spectators and part of the public beach will remain open during and after the event
– Public parking will be limited
– Disc golf will be open to the public, but with limited holes this weekend
– Please continue to follow all current Healthy Washington phase 3 COVID-19 guidelines
