Everett Police Investigating Shooting On Forest Drive

The shooting happened shortly after 10 PM.

Shortly after 10 PM Monday night Everett Police were called to the 4900 block of Forest Drive in the View-Ridge neighborhood for reports of a person screaming for help.

Arriving officers found a man who had been shot. He was taken by medics to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, Washington.

Everett Police Spokesman Aaron Snell tells MyEverettNews.com officers called in a K-9 unit to look for suspects and evidence. He says the victim and suspect potentially knew each other and it did not appear to be random.

Everett Police Major Crimes Detectives are investigating. The victim is expected to recover, a suspect has not been arrested at the time of this writing.
