Commercial Fire Damages Multiple Storage Units On Smith Avenue
No injuries reported after a confirmed commercial fire at Storehouse Mini-storage in the 3800 block of Smith Avenue just east of I-5 in Everett. The fire was reported at 10:45 AM with calls of smoke coming out of units in the “B” building. Firefighters had to use cutting tools to open both the interior and exterior of multiple units to get to hot spots. Ladder crews from Marysville and South County Fire assisted Everett firefighters. Several units suffered damage. No estimate yet and investigators are still looking into the cause.
