About 7:45 PM Friday night Everett Police responded to reports of shots fired and several vehicles leaving the area at Lions Park in the 7500 block of Cascade Drive north of the Boys and Girls Club.

When police arrived those involved had fled the Park. Officers were seen walking through the playground and field looking for evidence.

About 10 minutes after the shooting was reported there was a call that a person suffering from at least one gunshot wound was dropped off at Providence Regional Medical in north Everett.

Police were looking into whether that situation was related. As of this writing no other information was available.
