Opportunistic Thief Picks Wrong Truck To Steal In Everett

So there is was, running, sitting in the middle of Rucker Avenue with yellow lights flashing on top and a big City of Everett logo on the side.

Apparently that was too much of a temptation for one man who jumped into the truck and headed south on Rucker.

Everett Police converged on the area and there it was southbound on Evergreen Way with yellow roof lights flashing.

The truck turned west on Madison with multiple Everett Police cars behind.

The driver pulled over just west of Morgan Road and was compliant with officers.

He’ll be booked into the Snohomish County Jail on suspicion of auto theft.
