Everett Firefighters Quickly Contain Blaze In Detached Garage On Olympic Drive

About twenty minutes after three o’clock Monday afternoon Everett Firefighters were called to the 500 block of Olympic Drive to a report of a vehicle on fire in a garage five feet from a home.

First unit in found heavy smoke and flames coming from the garage.

They were able to get a good knock-down on the fire and keep flames from flammables inside the garage.

Crews did have to use power tools to gain access to the front of the garage and ventilate the area.

There were no injuries and a fire investigator from Everett Fire is on scene working to determine the cause.
