This in from Minor League Baseball today.

The frogs begin on the road May 4th and open in Everett May 11th.

The Everett AquaSox are excited to announce the much-anticipated 2021 schedule. After spending the last 25 seasons as the Seattle Mariners’ short-season Single-A affiliate, 2021 marks Everett’s first year as the M’s High-A club.

The season will start on the road on Tuesday, May 4 in Hillsboro, Oregon when the Frogs take on the Hillsboro Hops for a six-game series. Next, the ‘Sox will return to Funko Field for Opening Night on Tuesday, May 11 for a six-game homestand against the Tri-City Dust Devils.

“The Mariners and AquaSox have been outstanding partners since 1995 and we are excited to continue that relationship in 2021 and beyond,” said AquaSox General Manager Danny Tetzlaff. “With a longer season, fans will now have more opportunities to see future Major League stars right here at Funko Field.”

Despite the unprecedented cancellation of the 2020 season, the AquaSox were named “Best Family Entertainment” in the Everett Herald’s annual Reader’s Choice competition. They also hosted a variety of digital events, including the “Funko Field At-Home 5K” and multiple Trivia Nights on Facebook Live.

The 120-game schedule features 60 home games, including 10 weekends at home. The newly restructured schedule makes Monday the universal off-day for all teams.

Fans can place deposits for 2021 season tickets, ticket plans, group outings and picnics by calling (425) 258-3673 or visiting the AquaSox Front Office at 3802 Broadway in Everett.

Game times and promotions will be announced at later dates. Due to evolving circumstances surrounding COVID-19, the schedule and promotions are subject to change.

“The AquaSox will continue to work with state and local health officials to ensure the safety of our fans is our top priority,” said Tetzlaff. “We will do everything we can to provide affordable, family-fun in a safe and clean environment.”
