Happy Presidents Day. As it is a major Holiday there will be no mail delivery and most Government offices are closed including at the City of Everett.

Rubatino Refuse is not running their Monday trash or recycling pickup today due to poor road conditions in many neighborhoods in Everett, Washington. They advise to put out a double load next Monday (Feb. 22nd) and it will be picked up at no extra charge.

As of 9:30 AM about 1855 Snohomish PUD customers are without power in the central Everett area. Crews are working on restoration. A reminder that if the traffic lights are out at an intersection it becomes a 4-way stop.

If you have the ability to clean the storm drain in front of your house, it would be a good idea to do so as that can help urban flooding as the snow melts. While the main roads in Everett have been plowed many neighborhood streets have not received any attention from the City of Everett.
