The total cost is not expected to be a lot of money in the big scheme of things, about $2500.00. The message it sends was more important to members of the Everett City Council Wednesday night who approved a request from Everett Transit to provide fare free paratransit service to any mass vaccination sites within their service area.

A new mass vaccination site opened at the Boeing Everett Activity Center (6400 36th Ave. W.) Wednesday. It is the first indoor mass vaccination site to open as part of the Snohomish County Vaccine Taskforce efforts.

Like the drive-thru locations, the site is by appointment only for those who are eligible under the current phase of vaccination. Information on who is eligible, as well as links to register, are available at this link. Those with limited or no internet access, or who need language support, can call the COVID-19 call center at 425-339-5278.
