Explosion Rocks Neighborhood Near Eisenhower Middle School In South Everett

Everett Police checked the area and reported smoke but found no damage.

Technicians were seen in the area of the school Sunday.

Just after 2:30 AM Sunday, Snohomish 911 received multiple calls of an explosion in the area near Eisenhower Middle School in south Everett off 100th SE and 25th SE.

A loud flash and boom were reported along with homes shaking. Officers from the Everett Police Department responded to the area but were unable to find any damage. They did advise of smoke in the area by the school.

Midday Sunday a neighbor called and reported finding something that may have been related. Everett Police and technicians from the Multiagency Bomb Squad came and searched the area.

No active devices were found and the case remains under investigation as officers are reviewing video from the school and neighboring homes.
