Editor’s Update Monday 12/21/2020 4:15 PM: This in from the Snohomish County Medical Examiner. SCMEO completed the exam of the 56yo male involved in a pedestrian vs vehicle near Evergreen Way at 75th Street SE in Everett, WA on 12/19/2020. The decedent is Bruce C. Anderson of Everett, WA. Cause of Deeath is blunt force injuries. Method of Death is Accident.
Editor’s Update Monday 12/21/2020 9:00 AM: Everett Police Public Information Officer Aaron Snell provided the following update via email. Unfortunately, the pedestrian passed away. At this point of the investigation, it appears the pedestrian was in the crosswalk and we are working to determine the status of the lights/right of way.
All northbound lanes of Evergreen at 75th were closed for the investigation.
The pedestrian was rushed by medics to Providence Regional Medical Center and the driver of the vehicle involved was on scene talking with Everett Police.
The crash happened shortly before 8:00 PM and the roadway was closed for about two hours while detectives from the Everett Police Traffic Safety Unit processed the scene.
