Everett Police Introduce First All-Electric Vehicle To Their Fleet

December 16, 2020

Police Blotter

It is an actual Everett Police car.

The City of Everett, Washington has recently committed to taking steps to address climate change.

One of those steps was revealed today as the Everett Police Department rolled out their first fully electric vehicle.

Everett Police have been using hybrids in their detective division as well as in other areas involving non-emergency response but this is the fully electric vehicle in the fleet.

It is more P.R. than patrol car but is a first step. Here is how the department described the car today.

We officially welcome the first all-electric vehicle into the fleet. While slated for community relations endeavors, this Chevy Bolt is fully equipped to assist with patrol operations! Smaller, quieter & zippier than our SUV’s, look for the new Bolt when you are out & about.

A reminder it is a real Everett Police car driven by a real Everett Police officer who can really pull you over and give you a real ticket.
