Homeowner Escapes House Fire In Southwest Everett

The homeowner was not injured but did require a bit of oxygen following a house fire in southwest Everett around 9 o’clock this morning.

Crews from South County Fire provided mutual aid to Everett Firefighters at the home in the 10200 block of Dakota Way near Paine Field.

The homeowner was able to get out safely and firefighters found smoke and flames shooting out of the home on their arrival.

Crews were able to get a good knockdown on the fire but the Red Cross has been called in to assist the resident.
