A burger-filled sunset at the Port of Everett Saturday evening.

It was a perfect day for the first-ever appearance of the Dick’s Drive In Restaurants Food Truck in Everett. The truck appeared at the Holiday on the Bay Celebration at the Port of Everett waterfront next to Boxcar Park. People began showing up around 3:15 PM and by 3:30 PM a serious line was forming for the 4:00 PM debut. The first two people in line were from Everett and they were quickly joined by 75 or so people when the first orders were taken. The line stayed long well into the first hour. Here are some MyEverettNews.com photos from the day. Click photo to enlarge and thanks to all of our readers who made Everett, Washington one of the “first five” cities to get a visit from the truck.
