The Everett City Council and Mayor Franklin..
Just a heads up that the Everett City Council meeting has been moved to Tuesday. Due to the Veteran’s Day Holiday on Wednesday the council will be meeting at 12:30 PM Tuesday. It is a virtual meeting. You can
see the agenda and how to give public comment here.
There are several items of import on the agenda including a briefing on body worn cameras for the Everett Police Department. There is a strong possibility that Everett could get a three-hundred-thousand dollar grant from the Justice Department to help with start up costs.
The City Council will be getting a briefing on the proposed renewal of the Downtown Business Improvement Area. There are also further discussions set for the 2021 budget and a vote on the annual property tax levy with a one percent increase.
All City of Everett offices will be closed on Wednesday November 11th for Veteran’s Day.
