Hit And Run Closes Broadway At 18th In North Everett

Editor’s Update 5:45 PM: The roadway is now open and Everett Police Detectives are looking for a 2013 Chevy Impala (BRT-7851) believed to be involved in the H&R – if you see this vehicle they ask you to call 911!

Everett Police Traffic Safety Unit detectives are trying to determine the circumstances surrounding a hit and run that sent a man using a motorized wheelchair to the hospital.

There are few details as the investigation is just getting underway but the crash happened around 4 PM near 18th and Broadway. Both directions of Broadway were closed for the investigation with afternoon commuters being diverted at both 17th and 19th streets. No word at this time on the condition of the man who was hit and a vehicle description has not been released. We’ll pass along information as it is made available.
