Fatal Crash At Everett And Rainier Involving Car And Scooter

Editor’s Update 10:30 PM: The roadway reopened at 9:30 PM. Detectives continue to investigate.

Detectives with the Everett Police Traffic Safety Unit are investigating a fatal crash at the intersection of Rainier and Everett Avenue. It happened shortly before 7 PM as a person on a mobility scooter was hit by a woman driving a Honda. The person on the scooter was pronounced dead at the scene and the Honda driver was cooperating with Everett Police. Everett Avenue is closed between McDougall and Virginia streets for the investigation. We’ll update as more information becomes available.
