Driver Hits Everett Police SUV Tries To Flee, Hits Second Car

The crashed blocked the southbound lanes at 36th and Broadway.

The car that hit the Police SUV was heavily damaged.

Officers take a woman into custody.

A woman was taken into custody Wednesday evening after the reportedly driving into the side of an Everett Police SUV at the intersection of 36th and Broadway.

The crash happened just after 5:30 PM and after hitting the Police SUV the driver struck a parked vehicle.

She was taken into custody without incident.

The officer was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center to be checked out and Everett Police Traffic Detectives were called to investigate due to a police car being involved.
