Everett Police Investigating Monday Night Shooting At AM/PM

Editor’s Update 6:00PM 10/20/2020: Everett Police Spokesperson Kerby Duncan tells MyEverettNews.com detectives believe this was a robbery attempt. A man was reportedly filling up his vehicle with gas when he was approached by a male who was described at in his teens. The suspect demanded he victim’s wallet. The victim refused and was shot by the suspect who was last seen running south from the AM/PM across Casino Road.

Detectives with the Everett Police major crimes unit are investigating after a person was shot at the gas pumps outside the AM/PM store in the 900 block of West Casino Road Monday night. The shooting was reported around 9:45 PM.

Arriving officers found one person who had been shot. That person was transported by medic unit to Providence Regional Medical Center. A K-9 unit from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office was brought in to help look for the shooter. As of this writing at 11:30 PM a suspect had not been located and officers were collecting evidence and reviewing video.
