Word in that ZOOM+Care, a national health care company is expanding with a clinic in Everett.

Zoom+Care

The clinic is now open at 3rd SE and Everett Mall Way

The Everett location at 221 SE Everett Mall Way #M-3, Everett, WA 98208, is ZOOM+Care’s 53rd location.

Staffed with board-certified providers who cater to a broad range of illnesses and injuries, the clinic will include primary and preventive care services.

The location also offers on-site labs and prescriptions, allowing patients to leave with their medication in hand. It’s open seven days a week, year-round. We sent a couple of questions to ZOOM+Care’s CEO, Torben Nielsen

Is the market getting overcrowded for this type of clinic?
The market for on-demand, accessible and affordable healthcare still has plenty of unmet needs, and that’s why we continue to expand. Few communities have clinics that offer the kind of on-demand healthcare that ZOOM+Care has pioneered since the company was founded in 2006. We are more convenient, transparent, and accessible than other clinics, and we have successfully addressed many pain points that other clinics still get stuck on like crowded waiting rooms and late appointments. We’ve made ZOOM+Care an efficient point of care, so patients can get the care they need and walk out the door with their prescription in hand, in 15-20 minutes. At ZOOM+Care we put patients first, and see a significant opportunity to disrupt the way old medical providers do business. Our emphasis on patient experience is one reason that patients, on average, rate their ZOOM+Care experiences 4.8 out of 5 from over 17,000 reviews.

What about people without insurance or who have been laid off due to the pandemic? Are there low income or payment plans available?
We take most private insurance plans, but for those who don’t have insurance, we offer transparent, affordable, uninsured pricing. All our cash-pay prices are listed online so patients without insurance know exactly what to expect when they come to us for care. Additionally, our virtual ChatCare appointments are a flexible alternative that is even more cost-effective than in-person visit. Our clinicians can effectively diagnose and treat many patients from the comfort of their own homes, saving them time and money.

Since being founded in 2006, it’s always been our primary goal to make on-demand healthcare more accessible and affordable, which is why we started the ZOOM+Care Foundation and hold ZOOM+Care Free Nights in Seattle and Portland. At Free Nights, which are held the second Wednesday of every month, we see patients from 6pm-9pm and treat acute illnesses and injuries like coughs and rashes. Appointments are free and they are scheduled first come-first served. We also offer common medications like antibiotics at Free Nights.

You can learn more about ZOOM+Care or schedule an appointment through their website.
