Deputies Seek Help After Fatal Pedestrian Hit And Run Saturday In South Everett

Around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 8 deputies responded to assist Fire with a medical call for an adult male with a head injury near the 3100 block of 110th Street SE. Initially, first responders on scene believed the victim’s injuries were sustained from a forward fall onto the sidewalk. The victim, a 46 year-old Everett man, was transported by aid to the hospital where he later died from his injuries. Following an examination by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner, it was discovered that the victim had internal injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.

Collision Investigation Unit (CIU) detectives responded to the incident location and found evidence to support a collision occurred.

The 46 year-old victim was wearing tan pants and a hoodie at the time of the incident. If anyone saw this individual walking on 110th Street SE late on Friday, August 7 or very early on Saturday, August 8, believes they may have struck this individual while driving, or has any information regarding this incident, please call 911 or the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 425-388-3845.

Editor’s Update 5:45 PM: The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed the examination and confirmed the identification of the 46-year-old male who was involved in a pedestrian versus motor vehicle collision near the 3100 block of 110th Street SE in Everett, Washington on August 8th, 2020 and later died at a local hospital on August 12th, 2020. The decedent is Mark A. Davis of Everett, Washington. The cause of death is blunt force head injuries.
