Looks like Veterans in Everett and the surrounding area will soon have a more convenient place to receive outpatient medical services.

Review is underway of demolition permits for View Ridge Plaza, 220 Olympic Boulevard in Everett’s View Ridge neighborhood.

Miller’s Produce and the coffee stand at the corner of Elm and Mukilteo Boulevard are closing this month.

Back in the fall of 2019 a pre-application meeting was set up by Catalyst Capital, a real estate investment and management firm with offices in Los Angeles and Washington D.C. According to their website they specialize in the acquisition, management, development and leasing of commercial real estate leased to the U.S. Government.

Notes in the pre-application include, proposed demolition of existing structure(s). Construction of a new medical clinic building for the Department of Veterans Affairs utilizing roughly the same footprint, with a 7,136sf second floor addition to be used as an out patient clinic. Proposed Gross Floor Area of 29,000sf +/-

The demolition permits were requested last month.

No word yet on when the clinic is planned to open.
